Hello!
Like a fair number of you, I was first introduced to Exmoor ponies through the Dick Vet trekking section in Edinburgh many moons ago. In March, after years of owning or loaning Welsh crosses, Highlands and Connemaras, I finally became the proud owner of my very own Exmoor, Roo (215/23). He's a 9yr old gelding who came all the way from Cornwall and has settled in really well. He is already a firm favourite at the livery yard.
Hopefully I have successfully attached a photo of him competing in-hand at a local show with my daughter.
I'm really enjoying owning an Exmoor - I'd forgotten how much fun they are! Never a dull moment.

Thank you. We're really pleased with him: he's a very honest pony and always tries his best. I was surprised how quickly he came to trust us considering how wary he is of strangers-he tries to hide behind me if any strange men are around. Hoping to try some Trec with him next year.

Hello and welcome! Where abouts are you based in/around Glasgow? I'm another ex-Dick-vet-er in Falkirk which isn't too far away! Roo looks lovely .

We're on the north side of Glasgow, near Kirkintilloch, so not too far away from you both. Do come and visit if you're over this way.
