Hi , I'm going to put my introduction on the correct site this time. I would like to do this right. I am a fanatic on Exmoors and have three super ponies that give me a lot of pleasure. I have no one that lives near who is a keen rider or who likes these incredible animals . The nearest exmoor enthusiast are about two and a half hour remote drive from me. I became interested in the site to keep me up to date with all the Exmoor chat. I then did not feel alone. I am a keen climber and hill Walker and I take my oldest 6 year old Exmoor into the hills and we both enjoy the wild routes we take and we meet nobody for hours.

Thank you for your hello and welcome , its wierd to talk to anyone about my ponies. Well I live near Skye, small village called Lochcarron. I come from Cornwall and grew up with horses and ponies on my mums farm. I am here because I married a local and I was also very involved in mountain rescue and dog teams. I came across my Exmoors by meeting Debbie Davy and so it came to be, Exmoor fanatic. I do have five , but I have two that Debbies herd rejected. They are very small 9 hands , fully formed and look like mini exmoors . They are both deaf , but other wise fine. I am breaking them into harness , but not easy. These are a one off .The 'normal ' three I have are Beinn Strome 21/86 my first pony from Debby , he is from the liqueur stock and very smart. I have a mare called Molbuie 21/104 she is fantastic , so quite and behaves like a been and done it all pony. I now have her with Debbies recent licenced stallion called Ardmedden 21/115 , all living to together on a hill croft. These are my best friends and I spend as much time with them as possible . Sorry for babbling on.

Babble on as much as you like! I think I speak for the masses when I say we love hearing about all the members ponies. Love to hear where they all are and what they're all doing.

This is me on Beinn and I'm leading the new boy Ardemedden. I shall see what other photos I can put on. Weather not been so good , just starting to dry up now and becoming lighter after work, so will get better pics.

Thats some weather! I do miss "proper" snow that you can ride in from my Edinburgh trekking days. Here we normally have more ice than soft snow .

That day was a one off . We have had so much rain its been horrible here. I would rather have snow . The next few weeks seem nice and cold.
