Hello everyone I'm Rebecca. I was here years ago but my account has probably sunk into the sands of time by now - whoops. Anyway, I've always been incredibly fond of Exmoors and despite always thinking (and planning) to have a 16hh thoroughbred to event for my horse, I have instead strongly considered and fallen for a very lovely young Exmoor. So I've joined again, just so I can bug you all with questions about these beautiful ponies and share the progress of my soon-to-be-first-pony! It really is ridiculous how excited I am for him, so please excuse me for my enthusiasm! This is a 19 year old dream thats about to be fulfilled, as I've been asking Santa for a pony since I was 3 years old. It's much more rewarding to be able to buy him myself though, and adds a bit more special-feeling to it all. Anyway, hello all! It's a real pleasure to be back here!

Hi Rebecca welcome to the forum - we love nothing more than Exie enthusiasts so I am sure you will fit right in (again!) Looking forward to hearing lots of stories about your Exmoor and I'm sure you will find lots of very experienced people on here willing to help you out with any questions you might have, I know this forum has been brilliant for me when I have had any questions being a relative "newbie" to the breed myself! (First sat on an exmoor in 2010...but haven't looked back since!!)

Thank you :') I'm very new to Exmoors as a breed but have been learning loads through so much research - I just want to do the best for him He's a stunning little Herd 23 pony Carolbigge. 12.2hh and 4 years old, will be coming to me around end of November. I'll be backing him myself after lots of groundwork! He's in my profile pic

Hurrah and welcome back! Exmoors are of course the best, so you've made an excellent decision.
