I've had my 12.2hh Exmoor for 6 years now. Her name is Frithesden Partridge but she is known as Bracken. Her sire is Frithesden Lysander and Dam is Frithesden Pheasant. We are from Margate in Kent and Bracken enjoys Beach hacks. Her favourite thing to do is jump.

Lovely to hear about Partridge.
I know a lot about the Frithesdens as my mum got involved with herd between 2004 and 2006, and as a result a lot of the ponies we breed are based on Frithesden lines.
We have lots of stock by Lysander - including Frithesden Poppy, Golden Rod, Phari and Cedric. Our older stallion is Frithesden Phoenix who is full brother to Frithesden Pheasant and our youngster stallion Warrenmere Woodcock is also by Frithesden Lysander.

The one that you are showing on Wednesday ? ! He is proving to have a very independent mind and takes no notice of his mother . I am sure that he is going to enjoy his first show .

I've been looking at passports a lot recently since we met Dai and Ruth on the Intrepid 15 and I discovered Patience's father Whinchat was bred by them. Most of mine have relatives of each other somehow in their lines even though a long way back. These are 3 of them connected to Frithesden. Alfred's gggs was F. Beacon. Frodo's grandmother was F. Amy. Bunting's gs was F. Flapjack and through her mother ggs was F. Ambrose Interestingly the one that connects them all except Hubert is a pony called Octavius - and all is well because Hubert links in through Inca Dove!!!
