H i everyone. I am Sue Scott, a new member of the forum. I live on Exmoor, at Timberscombe, and own two Exmoors, a five-year-old Dunkery bred gelding called Dunkery Blackcap, who is by Beinn Ghoblach out of Dunkery Corn Bunting, and a two-year-old filly from Herd 167, Len South's herd that runs out on Brendon Common. She is called Little Sorrel, and is by Roebuck, an Anchor bred stallion, out of Amethyst, a 167 mare. The gelding is known to his friends as Perry, and the filly as Fern. Perry was broken in last year, and I am having great fun riding, he is very good. I show them both in-hand, but only at local shows. I am reading all the posts on the forum with great interest!!! It is good to hear about other Exmoors.

Thank you everyone for your kind remarks. Yes, I think they are both very special, but it's Perry who is my delight, I simply adore him. Have just come in from my 1st ride on him for some months, (due to a slight problem which we have now got over) and he was so good you would think he had been ridden only yesterday.

You need to go to Profile then Modify Profile. About halfway down is Avatar URL. You need to put the URL for the photo you wish to use here (without the IMG codes you use for posting pics). Adjust the sizes and picture should appear

Hi Sue Sue's fern is from the same herd as my Merry - and same year too that is, if Merry is who she says she is!
